And there are...I hope the whole euro project fails. And there are good chances that it will fail. Like you pointed out above, citing Olli Rehn, this is a core political project of the EU. Its failure means a turning point, perhaps to a more reasonable EU, limited to deal with general problems that affect all Europeans, and that would let its fingers out of local problems - which could be solved locally. But it might be that I am too optimistic here and the EU will go on regulating everything to make every single playground, tetra pak or chicken farm across Europe look the same.
