I'd probably heard the expression "English Civil War"previously but it hadn't sunk in. How about that! First encounter at tertiary education level. The texts were very opaque and I could never really picture the events clearly. I actually learned more about it later from watching the TV series "By the Sword Divided". I managed to pass that unit too.
